Equipment in the Meeting Room
|
|
♦ Only LCD projection will be available.
Projector resolution will be 1024 x 768 dot. |

Data
|
|
♦ All speakers are requested to bring in their presentation data in a USB-memory stick, or their own laptop computers.
|
|
♦ All speakers are also requested to bring a backup copy of presentation data in case of unexpected accidents.
|

|
|
♣Windows, USB-Memory Stick |
|
|
|
| a) |
Meeting will provide computers with Japanese Windows XP and with Microsoft Power Point 2003, and so the data format in the USB memory stick should be compatible with these. |
| b) |
Use standard fonts (Century, Century Gothic, Arial, Times New Roman) to ensure the format remains the same. Those who wish to use other non-standard fonts are requested to bring their own computers. |
| c) |
Those who wish to use Windows vista or Office 2007, please bring their own computers. |
| d) |
Those who wish to use animations or video are also requested to bring their own computers. |
| e) |
Speakers are requested to scan their presentation data with the newest virus scan software prior to saving of data. |
| f) |
The file name should indicate the presentation number and the presenter' s name. |

|
♣Macintosh |
|
Macintosh users are requested to bring their own laptop computers. |
|
|
|
♣Personal Laptop Computers |
|
| a) |
Speakers' laptops must be equipped with a D-Sub 15-pin output, standard monitor terminal as shown. |
|
 |
| b) |
Speakers please bring in your own adapter cable between PC and LCD projector, an electric transformer and an adapter cable where necessary. |
| c) |
All energy-conserving functions such as screen-savers, sleep/power saving modes should be disabled on laptops to be used in the presentation |
| d) |
Speakers are also requested to bring a backup copy of presentation data in another form of media in case technical problems may arise with the use of their own laptops. |

| a) |
Speakers are requested to bring their presentation data USB memory stick or laptops to the Data Preview Desk at latest 30 minutes before their presentation and to preview their presentation data or complete a run-through of the connection of their equipment. |
| b) |
Speakers who do not use any visual aids are also requested to register at the Data Preview Desk at least 30 minutes before their presentation time. |

Presentation and Data |

| a) |
Technical staffs in each presentation room will manage the setup of your presentation. |
| b) |
Those who wish to use their own computer, please bring these at least 30 minutes before their presentation time. |
| c) |
Laptops will be returned from a PC operator near the podium in the session room after the completion of the presentation. |
| d) |
The Secretariat will be responsible for destroying all presentation data at the end of the Meeting. |

* Poster Presentation
There are 2 types & Poster Number
(P-A, P-B, P-C…, P-1, P-2, P-3…).
Please prepare your poster according to the following guidelines.
The poster should be mounted on May 11. The poster will be mounted on a panel of 90cm (width) x 180cm (height). Please refer to the illustration.
Title: Use an area of 20-25cm x 90cm at the top of the poster
For the title, authors' name and affiliations.
Text, Tables and Figures: All material should be visible from a distance of 2 meters. A poster number and pins will be provided by the secretariat. |
